Are we giving enough respect ?

I have always wondered, why did god create and confer each organism a definite function?, but then yes, that is the way nature works. It helps in maintaining a balance of the universe. But the question is, are we really letting the universe to maintain it's balance?

       Over-exploitation of resources, destruction of agricultural lands, deforestation, poaching animals.etc, all the invaluable wealth which are provided by mother nature, has been plundered by us for the past god knows years. What if mother nature gets perturbed and rise against us the wrongdoers? What if mothers rise against us ?

      Devastation. This is what will happen in both circumstances. I am not here to speak about the wrongs which we are doing to mother nature, as we do wrongs inside our very own house, to our very own mother.

     Mother, who is born as a girl infant , carries her first steps as a child, grows into a woman, gets married into a household , bears and rears children, raises grandchildren and dies one day. 

We need to look inside this cycle of life of hers. She gets born, grows with love for her parents and siblings, gets married into a household with all sorts of dreams and happiness for a bright future, gives birth to children hiding the pain she has to undergo in her body, raises her children with all the love in this world , sacrifices all her dreams and even her well-being, she always prioritizes our well-being first, offers all her savings to her children's better future without having spent a single penny for herself all her life, brings up grand kids without any complaints of her health and what is she asking us in return ?

Respect and are we giving enough respect to her ?, To that woman who totally forgot that she has a life to live to the fullest, that she has her own hard-earned money to buy some things which will bring happiness to her, that she has her health which needs to be looked after?. I don't think so. Not all of us.

      We have many daily running soaps, which showcases uneducated and illiterate mothers being disrespected by her husband, her children, her family members. I am sorry to pen it down, but the harsh reality is even educated and doctorate holders  are also on the same boat of getting disrespect or at the least , not the required respect. 

     Kudos to many women in this 21st century who have fought and made their way out of this harsh reality and have created identities for themselves and some are on the way of creating their own.

     My doubt is, whether not showing respect, not giving a place for them, not involving them in making decisions alone amount to disrespect?

     I think, sucking their blood and health by letting them do all the chores,

     taunting them for doing their office work in home making them look biased towards their own home and career, 

     getting all the dishes from their hands in the accurate time and still complaining about the dish,

     not providing even a minute respect for all their sacrifices,

     not encouraging them to follow their dreams ,

     letting them down in front of third person,

     not recognizing their special skills and talents,

     and many more ranging from these to cheating on their wives who 24/7 care for their husbands and family. 

       All these are wrongs. All these account to cheating. All these rips us from being human beings.

      All they want is respect, equality, space, care, affection and LOVE.

      But are we giving them, those mothers who puts us ahead of themselves so that we could touch the sky, while she remains on the ground holding us high, are we giving them enough of all these?

      God gives us all a turning point in life which will make some relations to go farther and some to get closer. But MOTHER remains the same with the same abundant love for us. They too have a heart, a life, self-esteem and I repeat when she rise against us, it will definitely be a havoc. 

Every Kali needs a Shiv to pacify her when she is in agony , to respect when she has her saying, to treat her equally and to love and protect her, trust me every kali must do it back to her shiv. That is what we call true respect and true love.

I request all of you, men. women, children , everyone of you to respect others' thoughts and hard work.

 Why dwell on negative thoughts when we can spread love ? .
